How to Play Freaky Footballers
Take your 15 Players and Select 1 Goalkeeper, 3 Defenders, 4 Midfielders, 3 Strikers and 4 substitutes. Place your selected team face down on the playing pitch in a 1-3-4-3 formation (either just use a table, floor or print off the downloadable playing pitch sections from the website). It is recommended that players are played in their strongest positions (striker in the striker position etc).
The first challenge is for both players to turn over their goalkeeper cards and compare their goalkeeping scores, the highest score wins the challenge 1-0. If there is a draw, then neither team scores a goal.
The winner of this first challenge then selects one of his players on the pitch. If he selects a defender then he must select a striker from the other player's team to play against and compare the defender score of his player against the striker score of the other player's striker, again the highest of those scores wins and again a draw results in no goals. If he selects a midfielder, he must play against a midfielder from the other player's team (using the midfield score) and if he selects a striker, he must play against a defender from the other player's team. The winning player from each challenge selects the players for the next challenge, if a challenge is drawn then the same player chooses again.
The winner is the player with the most goals (1 goal for every challenge won).
If the game ends in a draw then a sudden death penalty shootout must be played. Each player selects one of the other player's substitutes and compares the striker score, the highest striker score wins, if drawn this is continued until a winner is found or all substitutes are used and the game is declared a draw.
